Vitro brings 98% of its global IT services under control and optimizes hidden spend with HOLO ITEM
How Vitro optimized the management of its IT services across 4 countries by implementing HOLO ITEM and a strategic partner model with RD.
The Challenge
Vitro operated with 95-98% of its IT services globalized across Mexico, the United States, Poland, and Germany —support, telecom, licensing, and multiple providers— with no centralized visibility or precise budget control over that operation.
The challenge centered on managing renewals and contracts, accessing historical rates, building forecasts manually, and consolidating invoices from multiple providers, all under very detailed annual budgets and rigorous monthly tracking.
The Solution
RD implemented HOLO ITEM as part of Kyndryl’s infrastructure management service, establishing a robust operating model that became a cornerstone of Vitro’s IT management.
The solution included a dedicated role focused exclusively on cost analysis and telecom provider management, a direct communication channel with Vitro’s IT administration, and operational continuity during the transition from T-Systems to Kyndryl.

Countries managed from a single portal: Mexico, the U.S., Poland, and Germany
